As per your daughter's rank 98000, if you take a look at previous years patters of cutoff then biotechnology generally closed at around 50000.

SO, there are very less chances that your daughter might get the desired branch.

BHOPAL and AMRAVATI campus are pretty new. As per the review recieved from many students pursuing engineering there, they were not positive. The campus is pretty new and is still under construction. If you have rank below 1Lakh then you will get anyone of this two campus. It depends upon you whether you are fixated in VIT or you want to explore other colleges.

In vit there is this admission procedure where you have to pay 4.93L INR per year in order to secure a seat. The basic idea is that students who get lower score will get benefit of scholarship and can apply but those whoose rank is low, if they can afford they should try to take admission by paying this much money in order to confirm their seat. If you want to go through this option then I would suggest you to go in counselling process and check your prospects there.
