My daughter has been studying in Karnataka for the last 4 years(Std9,10, I st&II nd PUC),and will be appearing for NEET2022. I work for a Central Govt PSU, posted in Karnataka for the last 4 years. How will the Local/Non local status of my daughter be decided for Medical admissions through NEET-22.

Dear aspirant,
As you mentioned that your daughter has done her schooling from Karnataka (9,10,11,12 std) so you can get the home state quota . You have to show your 10th and 12th marksheet which will prove that you are eligible for the home state quota for Karnataka.
Although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

As per the rules of Government of Karnataka " Rule 5(1) of Karnataka selection of candidates for admission to government seats in professional educational institutions rules 2006(amendment)" wards of employees of Central and State PSUs will be treated as domicile to Karnataka subject to- 1. Student has studied I st and II nd year PUC in Karnataka in any recognized college. 2. Parent is an employee of Central or State PSU and is in job which entails him transferable any where in India. 3. Parent is posted in Karnataka at least for One year during I st or II nd study of the ward.
