Dear Dharani, Sickle cell Anaemia is a medical condition that causes the RBC to die quicker than its normal life cycle. Now unfortunately it is not a disability. It is a medical condition. For PWD reservation, there is a list of benchmark disabilities. They are:
  1. Blindness and low vision
  2. Deaf and hard of hearing
  3. Locomotor disability including cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attaxk victims anf muscular dystrophy.
  4. Autism, intellectual disability, specific learning disability and mental illness
  5. Hearing disabilities

Unfortunately, sickle cell anaemia doesnt fall under this Category.
