Hello Ma'am,

First of all many many congratulations to you & your daughter. As you said it is the percentage of best 4 subjects. For BA (H) English Hindu college cut off begins from 97.75 & falls steadily according to cut off lists. But it's compulsory to have such score in English as well.

Wishes you luck.

Yes, without a doubt.

The cut off for English Honors, at Hindu normally stops at 96 percent and starts around 97.75 percent. So I am happy to note that she will get in by the 2nd and at worst, 3rd cutoff.

I know this, because I missed admission in English Literature in Hindu by a single mark and had to settle for Ramjas.

If possible, your ward might also earn a seat in St.Stephens, though we can only wait and see.

Good luck.
