My daughter is +2 science and she is interested to choose her career in ayurvedic field.Can anyone tell the scope of Ayurveda?

If you consider the present scenario and future prospects then you must advise your daughter to avoid this field. From last 1000 years, there no research in this field. Practitioners of Ayurveda are struggling today.They aren't good in updating their medical knowledge and new advances happening in medical field
Mechanism of selling of finished ayurvedic goods is shadowing.Any body can sell these medicines, hence you see general stores, company, uneducated person, druggists, everybody is selling them without having any professional knowledge of specific system and without any type of check.
But if she is so much interested then you can't force her to deviate the field. She must have seen something great.
Job opportunities also exists in government sector. One can get job in government ayurveda hospital as ayurvedic pharmacist. After the completion of this course, candidates also have opportunity to open their own retail shop of Ayurveda medicines.
Teaching field is also open for BAMS graduates. They can find employment in private and government ayurveda Institutes.
