My daughter is pursuing her 2nd Yr PUC - PCMC currently. She is focused on taking up Engineering having good career perspectives. She is creative by nature. If she takes up BFTech, does it have good opportunities? Can she pursue Software Engineer or jobs in other fields if no jobs in Fashion tech?

Hi, there are good opportunities in Fashion as it is an ever green branch. The downside to it is the job opportunities there. Below are some of the paths she can choose after completing her BFTech.
- Fit Analyst
- Manager- Quality Assurance
- Executive Production
- Manager - Cutting
- Production Manager
- Production planner
- Retail Planner
- Apparel sourcing
- Supply chain management (only apparel)
- Merchandiser in a buying house
- Merchandiser in a export house
- merchandiser in a E- Commerce firm like myntra or amazon
She can also go back to software related jobs if she wants to. Hope this helps.
