Only the candidates of Diploma in Engineering can apply for second year B.Tech admission through lateral entry scheme under MHCET.
The eligibility criteria for Maharashtra State candidature candidate includes:
The applicants must be Citizens of India.
The applicants must have passed HSC (Class 12) with Mathematics and Physics as mandatory subjects. Apart from these two subjects, the candidates must have studied Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology in Class 12.
The applicants must have 50% of marks in Class 12 or HSC (45% for reserved and PH categories).
The applicants must have passed SSC and HSC or Diploma in Engineering from a recognised school or institution in Maharashtra state.
Candidates whose father or mother is domiciled in Maharashtra are also eligible for admission. These candidates must submit a domicile certificate.
The candidates must have a Non-Zero score in MHT CET.
Diploma in Engineering candidates can apply for second-year B.Tech admission through Lateral Entry Scheme.
If you have stayed in Maharashtra for 10 years,then you must be having residence or other such proofs to show that you have domicile of Maharashtra.
