Hi,

Hope you are doing well

For admissions at Sainik Schools, candidates must appear for the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Exams (AISSEE) 2021-22, which is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The entrance exam is held for admissions to classes 6 and 9 only . These residential schools are affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

However in rare occurrence, some sainik school may allow admission in class XI based on interviews. To do that you have to apply to particular Sainik school if they publish any vacancy in XI. The chances of Sainik school taking admission in XI is very less depending on vacancy available in School.

I hope this will answer your query.

Thanks!!!!!
