My daughter was born in US, but did all her education in TamilNadu. Will she be eligible for State Quota in Tamilnadu?

Hi.
As your daughter has completed all her education in Tamilnadu and she was just born there, she fulfils the criteria of studying in Tamilnadu for more than 7 years. This should be enough for her to participate in State Quota of Tamilnadu counselling. Alternatively if any of her parents or guardians have been residents of Tamilnadu for more than 7 years, your daughter can participate in 85% State Quota for NEET counselling. As she has completed all her studies in Tamilnadu mainly from Class 6 to 12, she doesn't even need to submit a Nativity Certificate. She is good to be eligible under State Eligibility Quota of Tamilnadu.
Good luck

Hello Sir,
As per the eligibility criteria, it is clearly mentioned that only natives of the state can compete for the 85% state quota seats. For more information, you may follow the article link below:-

But if you are a permanent resident of Tamil Nadu for 6 years or more and in your case since your daughter has studied for 16 years in Tamil Nadu,Your daughter can compete for the 85% State Quota seats.
Hopefully this helps.
