And if the family income from all sources is less than 8 lakhs then going by Central OBC list, you can select OBC-NCL and you should get a OBC NCL certificate done for your daughter. Its not just your income that is counted but the family income form all sources is counted to deem fit in OBC-NCL Category. While filling State Counselling applications, you can select Lingayat as your caste.
