The eligibility criteria for SSC CHSL exam is mentioned below.

• The candidates, who are belonging from the age group of 18 years and 27 years, can apply for the entrance test.
• To appear for the SSC CHSL 2021 exam, the aspirants should complete their 12th or equivalent examination from any state or central affiliated school/Institutions.

Now as your current age is 17 years and 10 months. And the exam of SSC CHSL 2021, will be in the month of April. Now as the application form for this exam has been already released and the last date to apply is 15 december. So your age didn't match the eligibility. So you can't give SSC CHSL 2021.

The age limit for the posts is 18-27 years as on January 01, 2021 i.e. Candidates who are born not before January 02, 1994, and not later than January 01, 2003. So you will not be eligible to give SSC CHSL 2021 as you will not be of 18 years by January 01, 2021. You will be eligible to give SSC CHSL 2022 but not 2021. As per SSC CHSL eligibility 2020, 12th pass candidates between the age range of 18 to 27 years are eligible for SSC CHSL.
