CDS Exam (Combined Defence Services) Exam is scheduled twice a year by UPSC. Candidates should fulfill different parameters of eligibility criteria such as nationality, educational qualification, age, marital status, and physical conditions. Candidates appearing for the CDS 2022 exam must have completed their graduation or at least be appearing for the final exam of the degree

The age limit for:

Indian Military Academy is 19-24 (unmarried)

YearsIndian Naval Academy is 19-24 Years (unmarried)

Air Force Academy is  20-24 Years (<25 years unmarried or >25 years both married and unmarried.)

Officers’ Training Academy (Men) is 19-25 Years

Officers’ Training Academy (Women) is 19-25 Years(Unmarried)

The date for The CDS 1 Exam 2022 has been scheduled for 10th April 2022 (Sunday).

The Union Public Service Commission through an official brochure has released the Combined Defence Services eligibility criteria in the official CDS 1 2022 notification on its website upsc.gov.in. According to it to be eligible for examination the candidates needs to be at least 19 years old with maximum age allowed is 2 5 years for all the categories. However for  some wings the maximum age allowed is limited to 24.

So following this you are eligible for those courses which have maximum age limit of 25 as it would be considered as of 31st December of conducting year.
