Your age is 18 years 11 Months 26 days old. Candidates must be between 21 years to 32 years as on 1st of August, 2024. So, you'll be eligible for UPSC 2024 exam. Relaxation in age is given for Categories other than General Category such as OBC Category (3 years), SC/ ST Category (5 years), etc.

Number of Attempts:

General/ EWS Category - 6 attempts

SC / ST Category - No limit (Candidates can apply till upper age limit reaches.)

OBC / General (PwD) Category - 9 attempts

Candidates must have passed minimum 3 years Bachelor's degree in any field from a recognised College or University.

The lower age limit of UPSC CSE examination is that, the student need to be atleast 21 years of age on or before, 1st August,2024. So as you will turning 21 years of age, on 17th May,2024., you are eligible for the UPSC CSE 2024.
