CDS stands for Combined defence services and is an examination conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission). CDS is conducted in two stages for the post of Officer Cadre in the Indian army, Indian Air force or Indian Navy or officers training academy(OTA).
Eligibility for CDS Examination:-
1)The candidate must be a citizen of India. Outside India candidates who are settled in India are also eligible to apply.
2)The age limit varies from institute to institute but the minimum age required to apply for the exam is 19 years.
3)Female candidates are eligible for OTA only.
4)Married candidates can apply only for Air Force Academy and OTA.
5)For INA/IA/IFA, B.Tech degree is allowed which any bachelor degree is acceptable for OTA.
6)Candidate must be physically fit according to a particular standard set by a particular institute.

You cangive you preference of post at the time of registration. The elegibility criteria as mentioned by the UPSC are listed below:
1. O.T.A: Degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
2. Inidan Naval Academy: Degree in engineering from a recognized institute or university.
3. Air Force Academy: Degree of a recognized university (with physics and mathematics at 10+2 level) or a degree in engineering from a recognized university.
After learning about the criterias for eligibilty it must be clear to you that if you hold a graduate degree then you can apply for O.T.A or if you have done you 10+2 in physics and maths, andin addition tpo this you have a graduate degree then you are elegible for A.F.A as well.
