Candidates born between 16 th January, 2001 and 29 th December, 2004 are eligible to apply for Indian Air Force X & Y Group exam in 2022. So, you are eligible for writing Indian Air Force X & Y Group exam in 2022 and 2023 as well.

Only Unmarried male candidates of India and Nepal are eligible to apply for Indian Air Force X & Y Group Exam

Group X (except for Education Instructor Trade): Candidates must have completed with minimum 50 percentage of aggregate in 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Mathematics and English from a recognised Board. Also, c andidates who passed three years diploma course in Engineering in any stream with minimum 50 percentage and even in English, from a recognised Board are eligible.

Group Y (Except for IAF(S) & Musician Trades) : Candidates must have completed with minimum 50 percentage of aggregate in 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Mathematics and English from a recognised Board or College.

Group Y (For Medical Assistant Trade only) - Candidates must have passed with minimum 50 percentage aggregate in 10+2 or equivalent exam with Chemistry,  Biology, Physics and English from a recognised Board.
