As mentioned in the official website of AFCAT, the candidates applying for the examination must be within age of 24 years as on July 1, 2021. But you'll complete 24 years on April 30, 2021 so by July 1st your age will be 24 years and 2 months. So you are not eligible for AFCAT 2021 Flying branch and NCC Special Entry. The upper age limit for the candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License
issued by DGCA is 26 years. So if you have this Pilot license you can apply for flying branch also.
But for Ground duty, the age upper age limit is 26 years, which makes you eligible for the post.

Hi Aspirant,

To apply in AFCAT you need to be of age group 20 to 24 years and nationality Indian. In addition to that you need to score atleast 60 percent in maths and physics both at 10+2 level. The candidates must be 20-24 years as of january of the year in which to apply. So from your date of birth just calculate the years as of january 2021 then you can check the eligibilty.

Hope it helps!!

All the best!
