My DOB is 9/6/1993, will I be eligible for NEET 2020?
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
The rule which said that the upper age limit for appearing in NEET UG for unreserved candidates was 25 years and was 30 years for the reserved candidates has been abolished and currently there is no upper age limit announced as of now.
Seeing this rule into consideration you are eligible to appear for NEET 2020
All the best
Hi Tehreem,
NEET 2020, eligiblity criteria is as follows :
Upper age limit is 25 years or more for unreserved catagory 30 years for reserved and pwD catagory.
Minimum age limit: 17 years as on 31st December 2019.
If you belong to unreserved catagory,I do not think you are eligible for NEET year 2020.
Thank You.
Dear Tehreem, for being eligible for NEET 2019, youbhad to be 17 years old atleast by December 31st, 2019. And the upper age limit has been put on hold. Assuming thatbthe criteria remains the same, you are eligible for appearing for NEET. However this is just the age criteria. Then there is Academic criteria that you should have completed your 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 50% with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as your core subjects. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for SC/ST/OBC.
As per the latest eligibility criteria , the upper age limit to appear neet has been removed by the Supreme court ,for the time being. So, as there is no age limit present you can apply for NEET 2020.There is also no limit on the number of attempts .
I hope this helps.
Thank you
