NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
hi arul, you still have 5 months time and if you work smart, you can really score well easily, i will tell you how to prepare
Physics and chemistry- physics is considered one of the toughest subject for medical aspirants, but very interesting. choose any good book of your convinience, there are plenty of good books as many mentioned already. read the concepts thoroughly, understand them cover to cover, if you have doubts, clear them then and there. solve atleast 300 to 500 questions per chapter, check ,analyse and rectify your mistakes. solve again. the more you solve the merrier.initially you wont be getting many correct answers, but as you keep on doing am sure you will see your score rising. solve previous question papers too
Biology- in neet around 300 marks are from ncert text book itself, thats how it was when i gave my exam, so u need to thorough ncert first and then read any good book of your choice and solve as many questions as you can, always stay calm , cool and confident, hope this helps good luck buddy
Work for it and you'll get it.
It all begins with a proper planning of the phase of your preparation. Join a good coaching institution where your mentors can guide you through the journey.
Pay attention to whatever is being taught in the classroom because almost 50%of your preparation for that day gets completed in the classroom itself if you pay proper attention.
Finish your part of self study of the topics that are taught in the classroom that very day itself. Do not leave anything for the next day.
Practice and then practice some more. Never stay in doubt. Whenever you land up with some conceptual troubles, consult your mentors and ensure that you are understood the concept well. Concepts are the sole essence of NEET-UG Examination. The better your grip on the concepts, the higher your scores will be.
Make mistakes, but ensure that a follow up action is taken for the same after your exams are done.
Most important be confident enough to accept the fact that whatever you do every day for your preparation will fetch you what you want.

All the best
Having given you advice about the books in another question which you had asked I would like to live stress Upon The Study techniques for cracking Neet
Preparation should begin quite early and you must begin them with the concept forming subjects of Physics and physical chemistry laying special stress on Mechanics, electromagnetism, modern physics, inductance and capacitance based circuits, physical chemistry chapters including the molar concept and equivalence
It is very wise to jot down the formula in copies and their typical numericals which are solved so that you remember the application of them while you are attempting the MCQ zanar able to solve the sums in Limited amount of time
Since Biology is the summary from which the bulk of questions and marks are dedicated to in the subject, you need to be specially well versed with botany zoology microbiology biotechnology and genetics since most of the questions in Biology asked in these subjects from these chapters
Of course you need to Free Your Mind of most of the stress, keep yourself away from addictions and distractions, make regular notes ,make an effort to revise them as well
You must start giving mock examinations at an early stage which will help you realise your strengths and weaknesses across the various chapters from the three subjects
Since the biggest problem of medical aspirants is Physics I would definitely recommend you to master biology and Chemistry at such a level that you are able to complete both the subjects in anymore called the proper Neet examination within the first one and a half hours and solve the numericals on physics with calm Ambience in the remaining time
Of course self confidence is very important believe in yourself everyone has their own strings and Study techniques which see them through
Do not pressurise yourself with some benchmark that you have to achieve in an examination try putting in your effort taking one question at a time so that you can scored the maximum number of marks without making mistakes that is the key to getting the maximum marks and the Best rank from any examination
Hope this helps thank you
To crack neet Some strategies that you should inherit to boost your performance
1. Make you own time table , Shorter and achievable small targets.
2. Focus on limited books - NCERT + Some reference
3.Finish your full syllabus n a fixed time frame of 3-4 month.
4. Solve MCQS daily in a time limit - Understand where you are doing most mistakes, Correct it, retry
5.Whatever you study throughout the day make sure that you revise before going to the bed
6.Concentrate More on weaker subject
7.Give equal important to all the three subjects.
8.Understand all options of previous year MCQS ...As EXACT question is not repeated BUT related questions are....
9.Give mock test in between to assess yourself.
10. Have patience and be positive
11.POSITIVE SURROUDING - Discuss with friends who can help you stay positive not the one who brings negativity.
12.Correct your mistakes
13.Maintain your health
Don't think about the result. Be cool and devise a strategy for solving the paper, like which subject to attend first, what time is to be given for each subject, rough work to be done with pencil, leaving doubted questions initially, etc.
Above points will definitely help you

This is the dream of so many people but see if you work for it, surely you can make it reality cause so many people make it reality every year.
All you need is a proper mind set and a clear vision for which you are working.
Now only 5 months are left for you so make proper use of it in a smart way that's what separates top rankers and others .
Thing is you need not to cover whole of the syllabus but just go through important topics again and again and give lots and lots of tests and asces your performance.
Good luck
Thanks

If it's your dream to make it into a medical college by cracking NEET, then you should learn to wake up( give up your sleep) in order to make it come true.
Study the concepts in depth, don't read superficially.
Try to clock 100 hours a week.
Maintain your health.
Sleep is crucial, else you'll get exhausted before time.
Form a study group, discuss with friends
Stay motivated.
No pain no gain, you won't get this opportunity again. Make the most of it.
Donot waste time, invest time.
Revisions are the most important
It is said that hand written notes are well remembered than printed material, make your own notes, keep reading it again and again.
The best books you can refer to are the NCERT,
For biology, refer the following.
1) Trueman's Biology vol 1 and vol 2
2) Dinesh- Objective biology
3) Pradeep publication Biology
4) GRB'S Publication Biology.
For Physics refer to he following books.
1) H.C.Verma - Concepts of Physics.
2) D.C Pandey - Objective Physics.
3) Fundamentals of physics by Walker
4) Problems in Physics by I.E.Irodov
For chemistry you can refer the following books
1) O.P Tandon - Physical Chemistry
2) Morrison and Boyd - Organic Chemistry
3) Modern ABC's of chemistry
4) J.D.Lee Inorganic chemistry
5) Dinesh
Ncerts are mandatory to have, refer the rest of the books and find out which one suits you. I would advice you not to buy all the books but to refer them and see which one is better for you.
In the end it doesn't depend upon which book is better but how good can you understand the concepts
Also, for the general knowledge subscribe magazines, they will be useful.
Hope this helps.
Goodluck
Hey Atul,
It is correctly said by APJ Abdul Kalam -
Dream is
not
the thing
you see in sleep
but is that thing that doesn't let
you sleep
.
Preparation Strategy:
1) Have a Time - Table : It will help you maintain consistency.
2) Solve sample question papers on Biology: will make you familiar with the exam pattern
3) Practice regularly: Since the applicants are familiar to the syllabus their previous classes. Go through the sample papers carefully and makes notes of the quirks involved. Regular practice will make you more familiar with the subjects and help to quickly interpret and solve problems.
4) Keep time to revise your notes - this will help you retain till the final day.
5) Give time bound mocks!
I hope this will help you.
All the Best :)
