Every country has its own specifications. For example, Australia, UK, Russia and New Zealand are considered the top in the list for Pilot training. Either in India or abroad, you need to take up Commerical Pilot License program to be trained as a Pilot. First, you need to select the training Academy that you want to join and their prerequisites. Apply for their programmes and then may be apply for an educational loan if you want to. Most Candidates complete this course within 1 year along with the required flying hours. You will have to undergo mandatory Medical examination to see if you are fit to take up the course. Once you are done with the course abroad, to work in India, you need to write and clear the DGCA exams.
