Andhra Pradesh District Selection Committee conducts an entrance exam (i.e., AP DSC) for the recruitment of teachers in the schools of AP state. .AP government gives 80% weightage to DSC and 20% weightage to TET(Teachers Eligibility Test). Candidates with Bachelors of Education(B.Ed) are eligible to take the test. There are several posts such as Language pandits (LP), School Assistants (SA), Physical Education Teachers (PET), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT), and Post-Graduate Teachers (PGT), etc. which you can apply for depending on your qualification.The age limit is 18-44.Below are the eligibility criteria:
Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education (Spl.B.Ed) recognised by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). (or)
Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree and B.Ed (General) with a one-year Diploma in Special Education. (or)
Bachelor’s Degree and General B.Ed degree with a two-year Diploma in Special Education recognised by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). (or)
Bachelor’s Degree and General B.Ed degree with Post Graduate Professional Diploma in Special Education recognised by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
