Hi Raghu.

I assume that you're talking about TNEA. You have a good cutoff. So, you can get ECE or ME in a good college. Now, about the course, the two you're talking about are 2 different streams. But, they are interconnected by MECHATRONICS. So, before choosing a branch, think of the one you like. If you are interested in Physics, Mechanics, Machines etc., go for ME. In the case of ECE, it's al about electronics - diodes, circuits, programming, IC etc. Both have their own future. Take the one that suits you. And, once you have finalised, choose a good college. And, go for it.... AND remember, don't have any regrets after taking a decision.

If you can't take a decision, go for Mechatronics, if that's available in a good college.

Good Luck.

Everyone remains confused.

Being mechanical engineer, I may tell you about my branch.

You will learn about all aspects of solid, liquid and gas Dynamics.

You will learn about different materials, managing industry, manufacturing process, automobile engineering.

Truly the branch is very exciting.

Hope this add as a help to your selection of branch.
