My EWS certificate is issued by Tehsildar. I asked in du (helpdesk) whether it is valid or not? ...They didn't give me the clear answer.

So did DU consider the certificate. I'm in same situation right now and still there is no proper answer given by helpdesk. Please answer

Dear candidate.....
Well, the EWS certificate must be issued by the Tehsildar or any magistrate officer to be a valid one. So you must contact the DU directly for further information and enroll as a EWS candidate to avail special privilege. You must provide the necessary documents along with the EWS certificate at the time of admission so that your application may be considered.

Hello yash,
It is valid. There are two methods to get issued the ews certificate.
First one is tehsildar
Second is via an agent.
If your certificate is issued by tehsildar then it is valid. Be sure about that. It will be eligible everywhere.
