EWS certificate validity differ from state to state. Different states have different validity like Maharashtra gives validity for 6 months only whereas Gujarat gives more than one years and Bihar gives one year too.

Considering you a student of Delhi, the Delhi state gives validity of 1 year for EWS certificate and you said your last EWS certificate was issued on 20 july 2020 and now you are going to use it for admission in DU, yes though that certificate has still the value but I recommend you to apply for the new to avoid any future panic or mishaps.
