My EWS certificate was issued on 21-01-2020 but it is written that it will be valid for the financial year 2020-2021. When do I have to do the renewal of my certificate?

Hi Dear,
EWS certificate is an income and asset certificate issued to the citizens belonging to the economically weaker sections of the society. The income is assessed on the basis of latest income certificate based on latest financial year. The EWS certificate will be valid for 1 year from the date of issue irrespective of financial year in which it is issued. So your certificate was valid till 21-01-2021. and you need to apply for renewal now.

My ews document is of 7/01/2021.....is it valid now? What's the process of renewal and what documents are required for that
And after renewal what will be the date and valid year and financial year come on certificate (please give ex of any date so it will be easy to understand)
