Hello There,
Hope you are doing well.
Listen, Validation of EWS certificate is for one Financial Year from 1 April to 31st of March. So if you got your ews Certificate in December still it is valid from 31st March. If you wants to apply in JEE Mains then you have to apply for new EWS certificate.
Or you can do one thing before the registration of JEE Mains apply for the EWS certificate they generally provide you the reference number you can use that number during registration . That will help you to get the EWS quota.

Hello Aspirant,
No you cannot use your EWS certificate for JEE-Advance 2022 if it has been issued before April 1st 2022, because as per the information brochure released by IIT Bombay for JEE-Advance 2022, the candidate should have EWS certificate issued on or after April 1st 2022 in consonance with the latest guidelines of the Government of India and suppose if you don't have the same then what you can do is you can upload a declaration in lieu of original certificate and later on when you will get your certificate then submit it to the college.
Also now, dates for JEE-Advance 2022 are out now and it will be conducted on July 3rd 2022 by IIT Bombay. For JEE-Advance 2022 the registration process will begin on June 08, 2022(10:00 IST) and will continues till June 14, 2022(17:00 IST).
