my eyesight -2.5 can i apply for Indian navy

As per your query ,
Yes definitely a candidate with spectacles can join Indian army
but there are some criteria which you need to fulfill that is your eyesights should be in their cutoff which are listed below.
The physical fitness and medical requirement regarding eye sight to join Indian Navy is that there should not be any degree of squint.
Candiadtes must posses good binocular vision

As per the eligibility for joining merchant navy you should be completed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and the Normal vision is required but glasses up to plus or minus 2.5 may be allowed .
