A two wheeler would definetly help you to fulfill your travel needs.

But you will have to look at other factors too.

The two main factors are pollution and money.

By using public transport and avoiding two wheeler your contributing to build a pollution free (atleast less pollution) society.

Now think of the cost of fuel you spend for the two wheeler per kilometer and also the maintenance you pay per kilometer. It would definetly be less than the amount you pay for public transport per km (bus,train,metro). So you're saving money too.

And incase of metro or local train you are avoiding road traffic and saving time too.
