My father is an Ex-serviceman retired on 29 Feb 2016 and thereafter settled in Bhuj city of Gujarat. For last 10 years since 2010 he has served in armed forces in lucknow, bikaner and bhuj and after retirement settled in Bhuj. my query is can i get admission in state quota in mbbs college in gujrat
Pratik, can you help us as to where did you complete your schooling in all these 10 years? This is important because based on your father's employment, you will be eligible for Ex-servicemen quota. But the eligibility to appear in State Counselling also depends on your educational journey. According to the article https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/gujarat-mbbs-admission#Gujarat-MBBS-admission-2020--Eligibility-criteria, you are eligible for Gujarat State Quota, if you have:
- Gujarat State Domicile
- Studied in JNV in Gujarat till Class 8
- Studied in any of the JNV even outside of Gujarat.
If you fulfil this criteria, you are eligible for attending Gujarat State Counselling.
