My father is currently serving in U.P. police(not in army) so, would I am eligible for armed force quota in UPSEE/UPTU counselling.. pls guide me
Hello,
According to the official guidelines of UPTU the seat reservation under defence quota goes by the saying:
"UPAF (UP Armed Forces)Quota - 05%
Sons / Daughters of defence personnel of U.P. either retired (superannuated) or killed/disabled in action or defence personnel posted in U.P./defence personnel domicile of U.P. & posted outside U.P."
Police forces are not counted under defence/armed forces so you will not be eligible to get a seat under UPAF quota.
