Yes, it can create issues as 10th and 12th marksheets are very important document for verification purposes. That's why things r often confirmed multiple times in 12th grade itself.
Try contacting your board officials via mail if you have time otherwise an affidavit should work. Contact a lawyer regarding the same and best of luck
