My father was a teacher under government service, he has retired in 2017. What shall I fill in the father's occupation category in Jee main form?

Since your father has already retired and does not have any occupation to show as of now, the best way to fill that portion of the form will be to write 'Retired'.

People who have retired and do not have any salary should write 'Retired' in the occupation field of the form.

But there's no option that says"retired". So I've selected the "other" option. Will that be okay?
