You don't need to change your father's name on your 12th marksheet for JEE, as long as the discrepancy is clear and explained in your documents.

For JEE application , ensure consistency between 12th marksheet and Aadhaar .
If you change it only on Aadhaar , it might cause issues if you're asked to provide proof. It's best to keep both documents consistent.
