My father's surname is different in his aadhar from my 10th and 12th marksheet and aadhar(Sanjay Verma in marksheet and Sanjay Kumar in his AADHAR CARD). Can it create any problem at the time of admission in IIT?

Dear aspirant

Your addhar card data must be matching with your marksheet that's mean your name, DOB, address etc.

There are very less chances that any counseling authority ask for your father's addhar card.

Mainly your documents are required for the counseling.

Otherwise if you are applying for home state then in your domicile certificate your father's name should be matching with marksheet, even in other documents like income certificate or caste certificate. All these documents your father's name should be the same exactly.

Otherwise counseling authority will never be asking for your father's addhar card so I don't think you will have much problem. As if it's possible ask father to make corrections by visiting addhar centre for safety in future.

Hope this information helps

Best regards!!
