My friend didn't qualify BITSAT and got CSE in VIT Vellore in category 5. Since it will be costlier, so is COMEDK a decent option to go for?How much rank should he aim for in cse so that he does get good college in par with VIT Vellore?

hi,

see the list of best colleges under comedk is as follows:

R.V. College of Engineering:

PES Institute of Technology:

M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology:

Bangalore Institute of Technology:

Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering

however none of the colleges is best to compare with vit interms of placement, you would get average packages around 6 lpa, however in vit there is more big giant  mncs like microsoft, amazon etc. however to start a decent career top five colleges mentioned above is good. once you get 2-3 years experience in relevant field you may  switch for higher salary package.
