My friend graduate in physics.He want to become an ias officer. I want to know from you his qualification is eligible for this job
Yes he is eligible. If you have any graduate degree you can apply for upsc . But you have to practise alot.

Yes he is eligible for becoming an IAS officer .He will just have to clear the UPSC exam as to give the UPSC exam one must have a bachelor's degree . UPSC exam is tough so preparing for it won't be easy but if you work hard I am sure you will be able to crack it. All the best .
Yes he can . Because he has a graduation degree .but there is some criteria like applicant must be a citizen in india and there is also some age limit and there is also some restriction on maximum number of attempts..

Any degree (graduation).
From:
- any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India.
- or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament.
- or declared to be deemed as a University Under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.
- or possess an equivalent qualification.
Note: Final year students can also apply.
The minimum age to appear for IAS Exam is 21 years.
- Upper age limit for General category: 32 years.
- Upper age limit for OBC: 35 years.
- Upper age limit for SC/ST: 37 Years.
- The number of attempts for IAS exam: General Category: 6 attempts till 32 years of age.
