My gate score is 377 in EC, 2020 with a rank of 9950 and the category is GEN. I want to take do M.Tech Embedded or VLSI. I'm preparing for BITS HD and VITMEE. Previous NSR cutoffs show that I have achance in few colleges. What colleges do you suggest for better placement exposure in core companies?

see your gate score is ok but you may not get chances in top ranked colleges for m.tech course in vlsi with this score. so I suggest you to also apply for other m.tech entrance exams like bits hd, vitmee, state government colleges exam also.
