With this gate score it is very difficult to get chance into a maharatna psu if you are from general category. You will also face problems while getting admitted to IIT'S. But you can take chance in some of the NIT's like NIT RAIPUR, NIT AGARTALA. But in good iit and nit you will not get the specialisation you expect to get. So in my opinion give it an another try next year. If you get score above 700 then you can get chance into some psu, new IIT'S or some good nit' s.
