Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is organised every year by various IITs for admissions to M.Tech. programs of various institutes like IITs, NITs, IIITs and other GFTIs and private institutes.

According to your score, yes you should be able to get admission in NIT Trichy in Material Science in all 3 disciplines.

If you consider last year cutoff then in 460 you can't get NIT trichy for MEchanical Engineering, considering General as mentioned.

For Industrial Saftey Engineering the lowest score was 490 (approx) and this time there are chances that it will increase.

So, if you consider my opinion then please go for some lower grade NIT than NITT.
