my gate score is 492 EE from general category . can i get seat in NIT

Well try! 492 is Good Score and following are the 2 NIT's you can get
1.NIT, Sikkim(you can get)
2.NIT, Silchar(you can give it a try)

Since your score is closing score of NITs for Mtech program,you may get NITs but chance is very less.For sureity wait till NITs decalres own cuttoff score.To know which colleges you may get with this score visit given below site:
