The article below talks about the list of 20 GFTIs in India, their admission process and fee structure. All the GFTIs in India are funded by the Government of India. Admission to the Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs) is done by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority. The admissions to the list of GFTIs colleges in India is done on the basis of merit obtained in the JEE Main - Joint Entrance Examination Mains.
The JEE Main rank is determined on the basis of the scores of JEE Main plus the class 12th marks in the ratio (60:40). All the GFTIs in India have to participate in the Joint Seat Allocation Authority - JoSAA process which is primarily conducted for the candidates who have qualified the JEE Main exam. Candidates should keep in mind that the number of seats offered by each of the GFTIs in India is different and also varies from category to category.
