my general rank is 36362 and obc rank is 3262 , will i get govt. college in wbjee ?

Which obc you belong? A or B? I am assuming you from obc- B.

In wbjee your gmr rank is considered and not category rank.

This is very difficult to predict which college you will get because cut off keeps changing every year depending upon a number of factors like

--------) number of students that appeared in the WBJEE exam

--------)difficulty level of the WBJEE examination

--------)Kind of marks obtained by the students in the WBJEE exam

--------) number of students from different categories

--------) seats available for different branches etc

But yes,

With your 36362 rank , considering you  from obcB

category,

On the basis of analysis of past years wbjee cut off data , you have low chances in government engineering college.

For government college your  general rank should have been at least around 20,000

For example,

In 2019 , in 3rd round of wbjee,20244  general rank for obc-B category  was the closing rank for a government engineering college and it was for Govt. College Of Engineering & Textile Technology, Serampore , for Apparel & Production Management branch

You have chances in private engineering colleges like :-

• Academy Of Technology:- Electrical Engineering

• Adamas University:-Computer Science & Engineering/ Computer Science & Technology

• Asansol Engineering College:- IT
