My graduation marksheet and certificate both have different passing dates is this happens or i have to go for correction, please enlighten this. i've done my graduation from kanpur university , and in degree the date mention is 20 Feb 2017 and in certificate is 05Dec2016 i have completed it in 2016

No, you don't have to get the dates rectified. It has different dates because your marksheet was issues on a date different than that of your graduation certificate, that is December 2016 is marksheet and February2017 in certificate. It is completely ok to have different dates on both those documents.
