Hi Ajay!! Based on your rank you may not get cse in NIT Kurukshetra. You have a slight chance for getting information technology and can easily get any other branch in NIT Kurukshetra. Last year's cutoff for cse for home state quota was 6422. Since cutoff keeps changing i would recommend to still go for it in the counselling,after all there is nothing to lose.Note that these cutoffs are for general category. If you belong to other category then the seat is yours. If cse is your sole target then you could go for other NITs like Durgapur,Jamshedpur,Hamirpur,Goa,etc. All the best for your admissions!!
You have a good AIR in JEE Main 2019
With this score you can get computer science and engineering in so many nits under other state quota but there are very less chances to get NIT kurukshetra CSE.
If you like to go NIT Kurukshetra you can get remaining any branch for sure like ECE, EEE, Mechanical, etc...
If you like to go with CSE you can opt for some other NITs like NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Jalandhar, etc..
