see candidates from any area of graduation studies may appear in upsc exams, let it b.tech, bsc, bba or any other courses. however questions generally forms from general aptitude, English, Gk, history and geographical studies of India, Indian constitution, however being a mathematics background student you will find advantage for solving aptitude problems.
