Sir. I am from Assam and I am under EWS category (female). So how much percentile is required for getting into some good branch in nit silchar?
yes, your rank is fair enough to fetch you ece branch in NIT. You can even apply to other universities such as Assam university Silchar, NIT Agartala, NIT Mizoram ,NIT Nagaland, NIT Sikkim and few private institutions too . Make sure you keep visiting the official sites of NITs for proper dates of admission and counselling.
Hope you are doing well!! See it is first time that EWS category have been introduced. So it is difficult to say with this rank you will get or not. Participate in counseling apply in Jossa and see what happens. And as per previous year cut off of electronics and communication engineering of other reserved categories are under 30000, but this year EWS category have introduced so basically it's quiet unable to predict. Rather than that if you don't NIT silchar you can get other GFTI's like Assam University. Hope these will help you regarding any query feel free to ask in comment section.
Good luck.
Congrats for that rank in JEE mains. With that rank you can get almost any branch in NIT silchar. And also being a female and being from home state quota, you have two more advantages. So congrats again.
