my jee main january percentile is 98.80 and i registered for jee mains september but couldnot attend it so will my january percentile be applicable. Can i get mechanical engineering in top nits according to my percentile. thank u

Yes of course your January result will be applicable and will be treated as your final result. According to the norms set up by NTA for result declaration of JEE-Main if a candidate sits for either of the attempt then that result will be treated as his final result but if the student appears for both the attempts then best of the two results will be taken in consideration for making final result.
According to your percentile you can easily get top NITs with Mechanical Engineering as per previous year's cut-offs. For more details refer to the link given below :-
