my jee main percentile is 79percent is there any possibility to get seat in nit colleges

At first, I would like to refer you to check the previous year's cut-off marks of the topmost NITs through its official website or the link provided below :

So it's quite vivid for you also that if you're a General Category student, you don't have any kind of possibility fot getting admitted in any NIT with this percentile and marks through JOSSA counselling procedure. So I'll suggest you to try in State level counselling like Haryana, West Bengal, Punjab , Uttarakhand etc for getting opportunity of studying in several private engineering colleges suitable as per your rank.
