I'm sorry to inform you, but your chances of getting into any NIT is tough, for any stream. As you know, NITs are the topmost colleges in India after IITs, so the cutoff is really on the higher side. You can check out the entire list of cutoffs of each NITs, category wise, here

As your rank is quite good but it will be difficult to get into the NIT. But you can try at least but with this you must look for a backup options also so that you dont have to worry in future.

According to the category rank you have mentioned in the question you cannot get any of the NITs as per previous year's cut-offs until and unless you deserves Home State quota but I would suggest you to sit for some state counselling because in some of the state government colleges you can get admission on such ranks.
Note that the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.
