As of pervious years, it's really hard to get admission in good NITs. With this rank perhaps you can get the admission in at the last allotment perhaps. But the problem is, the college might won't be much good(not all NITs have that standard, a few are worse!) Or the B.Tech program that you take won't be of your interest.

You should join college which provide the programme that goes with your interest.

Some suggestions that I have to make are(not all courses would be available with this rank):

NIT Durgapur

NIT Hamirpur

NIT Jalandhar

NIT Rourkela

NIT Silchar

NIT Srinagar



One thing I always have to say is go behind the course that you love. Give more preference to that and next to college.

You can check the website of each NIT and see the last rank of the course that you like.
