hello aspirant,

84.05would fetch you a rank 163168-183425.now these are based on previous year analysis .As of now its tough to say because the analysis and also cutoffs change every year due to many factors like total students appearing for exam, difficulty level of paper etc.now based on your rank you and last year round 6 closing ranks will have tough to tough to no chances to fetch seat .you need a percentile of 96-98+ to fetch seat in good nits or iiits. work hard and improve your score in the upcoming jee main sessions.for more information refer to: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

hope this helps,

thankyou.

Dear student,

For your JEE Mains Paper-1 percentile your Overall Rank is expected to be in between 163168 - 183425. It is not possible to get seat in NITs with this rank. You have to get 95+ percentile to get into top NITs. This analysis is based on previous year's cut-offs. With this percentile you can try admission in Private Engineering colleges.

Prepare well for next attempt and work hard.
Tips to get good percentile:
1) You can concentrate on the topics which you missed in last attempt.
2) Give more importance to topics which has more weightage.
3) Avoid negative marking by answering only the questions you know answers properly.
4) Practice previous years question papers.
5) Give mock tests so that your score can increase.

Hello Dear,

As the percentile mentioned by you the General AIR rank must be between 165679 - 120612. Your category rank will be little less. There is a very less chance that you can get any NIT on your rank. You have not mentioned your home state as you should try for your home state NIT. but as you know cut off depends upon the number of seats available, the difficulty level of paper and number of candidates writing the examination. And, hence varies every year depending on these factors. You can check the rank vs percentile vs marks below:
